Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad

Taken 9/26/2015 on the Photographer’s Train for the DSNGR – between Durango and Silverton, CO, near the Animas River.   What a day!!  They would let us off the train, back the train up out of sight, and then proceed forward again to give us a chance to get good shots.  There are several dozen of these shots of the train – I suspect you may be seeing more soon (I only have half of them uploaded at this point!).  For another shot going over the river, just as they do a ‘steam blow’,  see DSNGR2.
