A terrific book for educators and parents alike

Larry Campbell, a former mathematics professor, writes a bi-weekly educational column for the Springfield News-Leader in Springfield, Missouri. The book is a collection of these columns.

Although not an educator myself, my daughter is, and we both thoroughly enjoyed this engaging book. Larry Campbell weaves humor through his columns, while introducing information that engages the reader with his thought-provoking essays.

My personal favorite section was “Lessons Along The Way” in which he shares his own experiences growing up in the educational system, then later as an educator himself, and what he had learned.

This is a very enjoyable read and I highly recommend it!
