Cartoon of the Week We’ll celebrate Memorial Day with a light-hearted Peanuts cartoon, which appeared around Monday, May 29, 1972 to celebrate Memorial Day in that year. (There is a minor mystery in this one, as Memorial Day was celebrated that day, which Lucy seems to acknowledge and yet appears to contradict herself in the third panel. Any thoughts out there?)
