Krazy Pic 1 Truth in advertising, Part B? It looks like some of us now have a clothing shop that understands us, but can we admit we need to go there?
Krazy Pic 2 I think we had a KP similar to this in the past, and we know it has to be fake. Still, I’m gonna have to go REAL bad before I’ll use this restroom.
Cartoon of the Week A fun cartoon from SHOE: Sometimes its just a matter of changing your viewpoint.
Curiosity of the Week Regardless of whether or not you’ve actually read Les Miserables, we all know its reputation as a literary classic. But did you know that it also contains the longest sentence in literary history?! You won’t believe how long it is!
Fun Subscriber Limericks! As a change of pace, our previous Pesky Puzzler pitched out some Creative Challenges for fun. The one that grabbed the most attention was the first one: Write a limerick with a first line “An apple, a grape and a pear”. Counting my own feeble attempt, we ended up with four FUN limericks!! See them all here. For responses to the other challenges, see our various Pesky Puzzler submissions OR go directly to Other Creative Submissions.
Isn’t Math Wonderful? Numerical patterns and neat results occur in all shapes and sizes and in a variety of places! Here’s a short-but-nifty result that you can also use as a magic trick to impress someone.
Pesky Puzzler 24.17 The Pesky Puzzlers offers a unique variety of options . . . Surely one of them will tickle your fancy. (PLUS: There’s a partial answer to one of them, hidden elsewhere in these Wild Cards!). See Pesky Puzzler 24.17
October Birthdays There was an October BD list in the last “Summer Rerun” mailing, but I’m not 100% sure it was up to date. So, since it’s still September, we’ll enclose it again. Subscribers with October BDs.
