Krazy Pic 1 I know, I know. But at least they couldn’t say they weren’t warned.

Cartoon of the Week Me? Pick a Foxtrot cartoon with a math-related punchline? Never. Besides this cartoon is about golf!

Pesky Puzzler (and BT) Roundup Between a Puzzler re-wording, and a tech glitch last time, we have a backlog. For the past two Puzzlers (total of 4 BTs), both Amy Ragsdale and Rita Barger submitted correct solutions to 3 of the 4. And Don Hayes submitted correct solutions to some of the Brain Teasers from the old mailing. You can find both Puzzler Solutions and the new Puzzler 24.11 in this same document.
Final Birthday Drawing! Another AME “birthday year” (July -June) just ended, and, with it, our ‘fun experiment’ for ’23-’24. (See here for reminder.) We just finished our FINAL WINNERS DRAWING. On July 4, I gathered all the previous winners, fired up the digital random number generator, and picked a name ‘out of the hat’. Out popped a familiar name: Rita Barger!! Congrats, Rita! I’ll be touching base with her soon about prizes. (She’s won most of the usual selection already!)
July Birthdays July Birthdays were included in the last Mailing, but that Mailing was so impromptu and ‘non-regular’, we’ll include them again. Here are the subscribers’ birthdays in July.
