Krazy Pic 1 I do indeed like both of these food items! But, together?!
Krazy Pic 2 Have you been slacking off a little on the housecleaning? Here’s a reason to continue slacking off!
Cartoon of the Week Foxtrot is always good for a laugh! Here’s his battle plan for fighting summer mosquitos!
FBI Scam I like to think I’m pretty good at spotting possible e-mail scams. (Not such a good record on phone, but I digress.) I’m having trouble thinking anyone could be taken by this one. Shared by e-mail from subscriber Richard Barger, who actually received this.
Follow Ups from Last Mailing Perhaps it was something I ate? Here’s a weird collection loose ends from our previous Mailing (Sep 6):
Solutions and Solvers – Omission and Correction I entirely skipped BT #6 and accepted another perfectly good alternate solutions to #13. So, I’m reposting the Solutions & Solvers to the last set of BTs.
Rainbow Bird? 🙁 Remember the picture of the Rainbow Bird last time, and the last minute fear it may have been photoshopped? Turns out it probably was. Two subscribers, one of them my bird-expert friend, Marvin Dejong, identified it as a photoshopped bluejay body. (Another, Christine Porter, also sent a link to another (real) bird beauty!) Check the link for the bird-that-could-have-been OR Christine’s link, OR just ‘admire’ the good job of photoshopping.
Cartoon Glitch? No one specificallty notified me of this (which usually happens), but I suspect there may have been trouble with the cartoon link (or website) last time. 🙁 Just in case, here’s a repeat of another ZITS favorite for your viewing pleasure. (Fairly recent, but perhaps still funny?)
Brain Teasers Once again this time, there are three (3) new fun BTs and one new Bonus for your puzzle solving pleasure! Grab a pencil and join us!
October Birthdays Yeah, it seems early to me, too, but by next Mailing, we’ll have at least two birthday among our subscribers! Here’s the list of other October birthdays of subscribers (at least the ones we know). (It’s one of our longest lists!)
The Magic of a Story: Some Educational Parables Some short make-you-think stories about education, woven with some memories from a spiritual mentor. A former column, first shared in January 2019.
Quote for the Week
It’s better to ask some of the questions than to know all the answers.
