Wild Cards! – May 9, 2016

Krazy Pic  A real money-saver, eh? 🙂  See KP.May9

Fake Obituaries  What adult in their 20’s listens to his/her parents?  This ‘knows what’s best’ mother tried a unique approach.  Quite clever – and really funny.  Think the approach worked?  🙂  See FakeObituaries.  (Thanks to Josh Walters [and his sister Betsy] for sending this along.)

Turning the Tables  This quick-thinking policeman turned the tables on the lawyer in cross-examination! Hilarious!  See GreatThinking!

Guest Photo  Our friend (and frequent Guest Voice) Terry Goodman recently traveled to Guatemala.  He took this picture from the plane while leaving. See GP.TerryG

May/June BTs  With the new summer schedule (see reminders below), we’ll run these Brain Teasers through May and June. Here are the first 3:  M.J.BTs

1516 Kellerbier!?  I’m definitely not a beer connoisseur – not even that much of a fan – but that may change soon, after seeing this. 🙂  Anita Dixon’s brother, Gene Grogan, wrote this for some friends, and Anita shared it (with permission).  Quite descriptive, nice picture, and cleverly written (Gene should be an ad writer!).  I’m ready to grab some apples and try some!  See Kellerbier.

What’s the Moral?  Meet Jeremy and Jane, whose story I told in last week’s News-Leader column.  They arrived early for class one evening.  Wait until you hear why. See Jane.Jeremy.

Thought(s) for the Week:
