Happy Birthday, FSIL !
Krazy Pic 1 No place convenient to eat your lunch? Always nice to have your lunch table with you!
Krazy Pic 2 Sure, kids love their toy vehicles. And, sure, ‘accidents’ can happen. But one has to wonder – just how fast was this little tyke going?!?
Cartoon of the Week Skipping school when you were a kid? I suspect everyone thought about it, and some may have done it. Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) tried it, of course. But as is often the case for Calvin, it didn’t go as planned.
Curiosity of the Week We are all aware that Alaska has many unique and superlative features among our 50 states. But you may not have been aware of this one. Alaska is the only one of our 50 states with this interesting feature.
Shopping at Walmart (for men)? A few of you may remember (from way back) that a semi-regular feature of this Mailing used to be Guest Voices. Various subscriblers (at my request, or by submission) would share a little of their ‘voice’ – perhaps serious, perhaps inspirational, perhaps anecdotal, perhaps humorous, etc. We had some really good sharings. A favorite submitter back then was former colleague and good friend Terry Goodman. His pieces were always quite humorous – often Top Ten lists. In this piece, Terry shared his insights in the form of A Man’s Guide to Shopping at Walmart. Read and enjoy (even though the formatting is messed up) !! (Note: I have not secured Terry’s permission to share this again, but hey – the statute of limitations on permissions is 10 years, and we’re not there yet.)
Pesky Puzzlers Rita Barger returned to the submitter’s list again with 3 correct solutions to the last collection of Puzzlers. We have 4 fun new Puzzlers this time, and – good news?! – no real math (or even arithmetic) is needed! Enjoy! You can see both the previous solutions, and the new Puzzlers in one spot!
March Birthdays March is coming! Here are the (known) birthdays of subscribers in March.
