Cartoon of the Week My wife and I enjoy the Pickles comic strip and the couple in it, even though (partly because?) they sound too much like us sometimes! We both laughed at this one from Saturday, 8/14.
A Modern Jonah?? This lobster diver says a humpback whale scooped him into his mouth, and then spit him back out! Sounds ‘fishy’ (I know, I know – they’re mammals), but he appears to have witnesses!

Column (My two month ‘sabbatical’ from my column-writing is almost over – still not sure what’s ahead. In the meantime, I’ll continue to share some previous columns from the archives.) A favorite pet peeve of mine – losing perspective on calculators in particular and technology in general.
