NOTES: 1) Sorry about the mix-up last Monday. This is the complete Mailing, as scheduled. 2) WELCOME to the new subscribers from the Taneyhills Library Math Family Fun class. They’re here for the Brain Teasers, but we hope they’ll enjoy the rest, too. 🙂
Krazy Pic 1 I’m just not sure here, but I’m guessing these folks are either very early or very late? Any thoughts? 🙂
Krazy Pic 2 Something tells me this may indeed be a rough road ahead!

Cartoon of the Week I’d almost forgotten how funny the SHOE comic strip can be! I stumbled across this, and it caught me just right – I broke out laughing!! The guy has beautiful daughters and . . . (Some formatting troubles getting it uploaded. You’ll probably have to click one more link, but it’s worth it!)
Amazing Location of the Week Get ready to have your breath taken away! Pridrangaviti Lighthouse, off the coast of Iceland may be the most isolated in the world. (No running into town for a gallon of milk!!)
Brain Teasers There are FOUR new Brain Teasers this week, to go along with the others. Dive in and have fun!! We’d love to have any solutions you get!!
Teaching Fish to Climb Trees, Reading Foxtrot, and Making Sense “If you judge a fish by its ability to climb trees, it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.” We visited that quote in the last Mailing and used it to discuss the extremely difficult problem of maximizing effective learning for all students of all learning styles and different needs. Here is the follow-up Springfield News Leader column to that one, It first appeared in November 2020.
