The Carter (MT) Ferry – and Vicki Perkins
Time to sprinkle in another “River Story” – previews of some of the “River Adventures & Stories” that will appear in the upcoming Rollin’ On The River book.
There are only 3 free ferries left on the Missouri River, and they are all in Montana. How can you pass the opportunity experience one or two of them?! My first one came on the road between Great Falls and Fort Benton, where the Carter Ferry is located. Experience my crossing with me and meet Vicki Perkins, the ferry’s co-operator.
