Did anyone else get sucked into the recent Agatha Christie adaptation Seven Dials? Pat and I watched it and we both sat up straight when several views of Ronda Spain were featured!! What an amazing city with amazing bridge between two halves of town, which are separated by a 500-ft canyon valley! So I was inspired to revisit a old Photo of the Week, first featured in 2015.

Puento Nueve (New Bridge) in Ronda, Spain
“New” is relative here. The bridge, over 500 ft high, was finished in 1793, after 40 years of construction. Ronda is a town in the province of Malaga, in Spain. The view of the bridge above is from the canyon floor. For a breathtaking aerial view of the bridge and town, see Ronda2. [Which is not a shot I took.] The shot above was taken in May 2002.
