Early Morning on the Young Missouri River – Ft Benton, MT
Not necessarily ‘scenic’, but certainly peaceful – AND a reminder that the early Missouri River is varied, changing and growing. At this spot in Montana, roughly 200 miles from the official source, our young River is as narrow and shallow as it looks in the picture. (I watched a deer bound all the way across it, never getting deeper than knee-level !)
