Upper Missouri River – Mid Montana
This photo, taken between Helena and Great Falls, Montana on Aug 2, 2016, gives yet another glimpse of the beauty, remoteness, and youth of the River in this part of the state. Fishermen are often seen on this particular stretch. The scenery varies greatly in the short segment between Helena and Great Falls. (E.g. check out this entirely different shot [and some irony!] not far away.) Those of you going with us in August (see below for details) will likely pass this exact spot!
