Recall: The quotes are verbatim (within an occasional word or two), but Aunt Edna is the fictional mouthpiece of a (much loved) extended family member, who remains anonymous, but cooperative. “Her” gender is not guaranteed, and “her” age is disguised by occationally altering the year of the quotes.
