My understanding is it is a blue jay that has indeed been ‘enhanced’.
But just maybe more people are looking up and delving deeper on their nature walks!! 😉

Yes, my bird-expert friend (Marvin De Jong from S/C of O days :-)) has suggested same 🙁. He says the body is that of a Bluejay with other points.
sigh. Oh, well, as you say, perhaps people are more aware.
