Math is Not a Four-Letter Word: Family Fun with Math
SESSION DATES & TIMES: THURSDAY evenings, Feb 4, 11, 18, 25, from 6:00 – 6:30 pm.
SESSION LEADER: Dr. Larry Campbell, former C of O and MSU professor and math educator.
So, you don’t think that math and fun fit in the same sentence?! Then this is the family (or individual) adventure for you!! Of course, you can certainly sign up by yourself (and we’ll love to have you), but it’ll be even more fun with family members!
We’ll be having too much fun and variety to try to pin down a specific weekly schedule – each session may depend on what happened the week before!!
But each week is likely to feature (at least) a Game of the Week, a Puzzle/Riddle of the Week, and a FUN Problem or Challenge of the Week. BUT . . .No assignments – no grades! There will be only FUN – no pressure!! We’ll play some games, learn some tricks, maybe learn some fascinating math facts, and maybe talk about what we’re doing – but we’ll DEFINITELY have fun!!
