Be a part of the adventure as we re-visit part of the Montana portion of my 2016 Adventure along the Missouri River.   This Adventure is highlighted in the book Rollin’ Down the River.

We will be visiting 4 cities in Montana, all of which are on the beginning and early portion of the River, while it is still flowing NORTH!  All four of these cities are situated in some of the most beautiful & scenic part of “Big Sky Country”.  We will also revisit many Lewis & Clark landmarks along the way.  This one-week trip will occur in early August 2019.  (See below).  Final dates and costs available by September 2018.

TRIP INCLUDES:

  • Boat Tour of “Gates of the Mountains”, beautiful stretch of River described by Lewis & Clark.
  • First Peoples Buffalo Jump, used by early Native Americans to harvest buffalo
  • Tours of Great Falls, MT & selected Falls. Includes Tour of CM Russell Museum.
  • Impressive Lewis/Clark Interpretive Center in Great Falls
  • World’s Shortest River (Great Falls)
  • Visit to Fort Benton, MT, oldest town (and Fort) in Montana, and all sights
  • Visit headwaters of “Missouri Breaks”, the most beautiful and remote stretch of the River.
  • Many Lewis and Clark sites, including Decision Point near Fort Benton
