Unrequited Love
Little Susie loved her Johnny,
Thought her life without him stunk!
Sat beside him at the movies
Sat unnoticed- in a funk!
Then one day she found the answer,
Should have known it from the start.
Cooked him dinner, all his favorites
Found the way straight to his heart!
The Crack and a Sack
Before I met you my heart had a crack,
That’s why I carried my love in a sack.
From a distance I saw you running with a glue stick held high,
Shouting “Won’t you please stop and give this a try”?
Well, it didn’t take long and the crack was filled in,
That’s when my heart became full of Love once again.
