Aunt Edna’s Wisdom – Archives & New!

Reminder:  Aunt Edna segments feature real quotes from an (anonymous but cooperative) extended family member (who may or may not still be alive), put into the mouth of a fictional Aunt Edna.  Edna’s gender not guaranteed, and year of quotes sometimes changed to disguise age.  🙂

FROM THE ARCHIVES:

” If you know the ingredients of anything, you can make it from nothing.”   Aug 8, 2011

PREVIOUSLY UNSHARED:

(Apparently referring to food?) ” You can get 2 for the price of one calorie.”

December 18, 2014

 ” . . . just like a bull in a china cabinet.”

  1. Got a marvelous comment from Marvin De Jong on this AM’s quote from “Aunt Martha”. I wish I could share it, but his note mainly had a conjecture as to Aunt Edna’s real identify, and I’m currently not sharing/approving those. Maybe one day. 🙂
