BLOOPER of the Week Award goes to Larry Campbell, who -in the last Mailing – apologized for an apostrophe mistake in one of the Krazy pics, while simultaneously misspelling ‘trespass’! Sigh.
Troubles with Opening Wild Card Links? At least one subscriber had almost-serious troubles with one of last Mailing’s links (the optical-illusion tribute to Escher). Did anyone else?? The trouble appears to have been isolated (I hope?), but please feel free to notify my if/when any of the links in the Mailing behave irrationally.
Krazy Pic 1 I’m just not familiar with this distinction. It is a good deal? Maybe if they’re low-mileage?
Krazy Pic 2 My wife will confirm that I am NOT a DIY handyman. I just never would have thought of this!
Cartoon of the Week It’s no secret I love Herman‘s offbeat humor. Here we have a little mis-understanding at the bank.
Amazing Location of the Week Less well-know, perhaps, than Geneva, but just as beautiful! Here is an aerial view of Lucerne, Switzerland – a must on every Switzerland itinerary. (See the Photo of the Week above for a ground-level view near the bridge.)
Brain Teasers We will continue to extend the BTs through May, at least. (And we will combine it with a FLASH sale – see below!) We are now up to 21 BTs and 4 Bonuses! Surely you can find some to your liking!
FLASH “Brain Teasers Sale” !! In our ongoing attempt to re-interest more of you in the magical fun of solving brain teasers, we will run a FLASH Brain Teaser Sale! This will only last until May 31. Here’s the deal: Submit [or have already submitted] proposed solutions (they don’t even have to end up being correct!) to at least 3 Brain Teasers, and be eligible for either/both of the following: A) Purchase Rollin’ Down the River for $22.50 (lowest price ever offered!) B) Purchase The Parallel Tao Te Ching for $15. For summaries of these books, go to LarryNCampbell.com and scroll down on the home page.
