Almost every year has a nice palindrome* (or two or more!). 2020 has a couple of more interesting and fun ones (see below), and I wouldn’t want you to miss them.:-) They’re coming up in February, so be alert – and, as always, celebrate responsibly!!
1. February 2 – 02/02/2020 ! Particularly nice, don’t you think? (Thanks to subscriber Anita Dixon for reminding me of this one! I’d almost missed it!)
2. February 22 – 02/22/20. Also a nice one! And my wife’s 51st wedding anniversary!
3. February 11 – 02/11/20. OK, not quite as fun, but still a palindrome. (And to paraphrase Will Rogers, I never met a palindrome I didn’t like!**)
* A number (or for that matter, a word/phrase) that reads the same forward and backward.
** And it’s not just palindromes. I know folks think all ‘numbers people’ are nerds, but there’s an interesting (and humorous) ‘proof’ that All numbers are interesting. Click to read and to brighten your day!
