Weird News?! Not for me!! OK, at first I was offended. 🙂 Here was this article about the ‘new largest (Mersenne) prime’ listed in Weird News category!! (And at NPR, at that!?) Can you imagine? Well, yes, I know you can, which I why I didn’t share this two months ago 🙂 But then I realized – if you think it’s “Weird News”, you’re more likely to read it!! 🙂 So I give you this ‘weird’ news: The newest and largest (Mersenne) prime!!
