Today’s Krazy Pic Theme is Hiking (and Hunting?)

Krazy Pic 1  Can’t say they didn’t warn us, but still . . .

Krazy Pic 2  Perhaps another place to hike is in order?

Cartoons  A quick sampling of 3 cartoons (all in one click), all under the category of “Ain’t It The Truth!”

A chiasmus?!?  Having been reminded of these by having one sent along by subscriber Anita Dixon, I’ve re-discovered them!  “They” are sentences like “Never let a fool kiss you, or a kiss fool you” (which is also the title of a book by Mardy Grothe which is full of these treasures!)  Here’s a sampling of a few more of my favorites, including the one Anita sent along.  (See the timely Quote of the Week below, as well.)

Guest Voice  I keep running across Rita Hermann’s blogs, I keep enjoying them, and I keep asking her if I can share.  I love the way she has captured the magic of a weekend community summer night in Yellville, Arkansas.  If you don’t feel better after reading it, perhaps you need a vacation.  🙂

Guest Voices Reminder Don’t forget that I’m always looking for Guest Voice sharings.  And you don’t have to be a writer/artist/creative type to participate.  Take a look at these semi-guidelines and think about submitting your own !

October Birthdays Known October birthdays of subscribers.  If you should be on here, ‘fess up!  You’re missing out.

Brain Teasers!  Three new ones to add to the list!  Join the fun!!

Quote for the Week

“Were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate for a moment to prefer the latter.”

– Thomas Jefferson
