The Confluence of the Missouri & the Milk Rivers

Near Glasgow and Fort Peck, Montana.    Why the name, and which river is which?  Perhaps you can guess from journal entries of Lewis and Clark:  Lewis:  “The water of this river possesses a peculiar whiteness, being about the colour of a cup of tea with the admixture of a tablespoonfull of milk.” Clark agreed: “It precisely resembles tea with a considerable mixture of milk. We called it Milk river.”  Taken on Aug 7, 2016.  (See here for more pics of the confluence and the blending colors.)
