Burano 2 – The Good Padre. Another shot taken in Burano, but this is more a ‘slice of life’ photo than a scenery shot. I really liked this guy (but I’m not sure he was pleased to have his picture taken.) See Burano Padre.

I hadn’t – it’s a compulsion to count things, and I think I may suffer from a mild form of it. 🙂 However – there’s a fascinating connection to vampires, including Count von Count on Sesame Street! Mis-Count 🙂 No, this is not a female vampire. 🙂 But speaking of counting, apparently I can’t! Last week I said we were about to celebrate our 6th month of these Mailings, when in fact this Friday (1/16) marks the SEVENTH month anniversary! Good thing I didn’t teach math!
NEW!! Cartoon of the Week! HERMAN, Far Side, and more!! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the old HERMAN and Far Side comic strips until running into some of them again recently. I think we need a regular “Cartoon of the Week” feature, so I may start doing more of these! Today’s HERMAN is perhaps my ALL-TIME favorite!! (I often use it in presentations).
