Krazy Pic 1 Sometimes those church signs can out-smart themselves! This is not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Krazy Pic 2 When I find a good Krazy Pic that has a caption, I usually crop/edit it out. But this caption seems to be perfect . . . what the heck?
Cartoon of the Week Are you familiar with the Pickles comic strip? My wife and I love it. Anyway, has your spouse ever been mad at you and you’re not sure why? If so, there might be a valuable lesson here.
Curiosity of the Week Our eight planets (sorry, Pluto lovers) have some weird features. Take Venus. We all know that Earth has 365 days in one year (well, 365 1/4, technically, but hey . . .). How many days are in a year on Venus? The answer is surprising.
It Could Be Verse In honor of National Poetry Month in April, we take another visit to the archives for TWO selections from this old regular feature. I should really stop humiliating myself this way, but I have fun with them, so . . . This first one highlights a problem of mine, and this second one honors National Poetry Month.
Pesky Puzzlers Our last collection of Puzzlers had some Pi Day Trivia concerning famous physicists, a quick reference to Twin Prime Days, a singular-plural-singular oddity, and the old cork & bottle classic. I frankly expected more responses, but alas – Frank Green was the only submitter of some correct solutions. See that collection and correct solutions here. This time we have another fun and varied collection with at least one or two pretty easy ones. Check them out – and submit a solution or two (or 4!)
April Birthdays Here is the list of (known) subscriber birthdays. Should yours be on there?
