Medieval Church Ruin – Gotland, Sweden
We were visiting the ruins of an ancient church on the (mostly still Medieval) island of Gotland, off the coast of Sweden. Suddenly, this marvelous gate/door jumped out and grabbed me. To this day, I’m still taken by its silent majesty in the midst of ruins. Taken in June 2006.
